Full Time Nanny Livingston

We are seeking a loving, reliable, and experienced Full-Time Nanny to join our family and provide exceptional care. A persons warm and loving nature is the most important quality we value. The second group of qualities we value is a commitment to efficiently getting the work done and being thorough so there is ample time to spare for nurturing the relationship with the children. The ideal candidate will also possess strong driving skills, ensuring safe transportation of the children to and from various activities. This role requires a deep understanding of child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with parents. We have two girls who are in 3rd grade & kindergarten and 22 month old son who will be starting preschool soon. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. 

Responsibilities:

1. Provide attentive and compassionate care for three children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Safely transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and other engagements.
3. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual, social, and emotional development.
4. Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods.
5. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
6. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including children’s rooms, play areas, and common areas used by the family.
7. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and tidying up after activities.
8. Administer basic first aid and medication as required, following parents’ instructions and guidelines.
9. Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, activities, and any concerns or issues that arise.
10. Collaborate with parents to reinforce family values, rules, and expectations regarding discipline and behavior.

Requirements:

1. Someone who can be flexible - the hours may change slightly month to month depending on our work schedule or needs
2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and other caregivers.
4. Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references from previous employers.
