Rabies and Free Rabies Vaccination.

from Robert Roe, Maplewood Health Dept.    A raccoon that attacked a dog last week has been tested by the State Health Dept. laboratory and found to have rabies.   The family has been contacted and has gotten their dog a booster rabies vaccination.

On Saturday October 7, St. Hubert's Animal Welfare will be offering free dog and cat rabies vaccinations at Maplecrest Park from noon until 4:00pm.   Residents from any town are welcome.    The first line of defense against rabies is to have your dog and cat vaccinated.   For further information contact the Health Dept. at 973-762-8120 x4400.
