How about the temps this year?  11f as I write this.  Has to be the coldest January in a long time.

That's about what we got in South Orange. We live just up the hill from North Ridgewood.

Is there somewhere snow totals are posted?  I did a google search, and nothing was quite right. My cousin in Summit got closer to a foot, so I was wondering if there was such a big difference between our towns, or if they're just in a big drift.

There is often a major difference between snow totals in Summit (the summit) and in Maplewood (the valley), but I’m in Summit, and yesterday we got between 5 and 6 inches. Either your cousin lives at an even higher altitude in town than I do, or he/she might have measured a drift…

The Essex county department of snow measurements had their trucks out this morning going town to town  checking the various levels. The figures should be available Monday morning.  Lol

Lenny and Squiggy couldn’t have made a timelier entrance.
