MOL slowness

Sorry about the connection - here's the follow up from my server guys: We are currently experiencing a connection outage that is effecting a multitude of clients at one of our datacenters.

Hopefully this will get resolved shortly.

Yeah, we're having some server load issues sporadically, I'm trying to pin down the cause.

This is what I see every time I open the dead celebrity thread. I have to refresh to see the actual thread. 

This has been going on for a long time. Chrome on iOS. Fully updated.

Thanks - I'll look into this.

I find Chrome Canary fairly quick.  Safari drags because of the animated gif ads needing to completely cycle through before the twirling orange circle disappears and I can interact with the page.

Also, the site is faster when I use NordVPN to visit the site from Kansas.
