I am over 40 and I always wear a two piece. Not a thong string bikini, of course. I've seen men in speedos and women in nearly thongs. I don't know if there are official rules but most avoid "offensive", although a few stop just short

No, no thongs. I gave those up years ago .
Thanks for the feedback! Feel better that I won't be the only 'lady' in a two piece! I just turned 40 and I am at a bit of a crossroads between what I want to be wearing and what I think I should be wearing.
I always wear a two piece. When my kids were little I felt more comfortable with board shorts in case they pulled on me, but my torso is really long and I much prefer a two piece.
I am well into my 40s now ( and unfortunately well into lbs!) and I always wear a two piece. One pieces have always looked weird on my body. Not a problem

First year joining the Maplewood pool. Is there a "proper/recomended" attire? Will I be the talk of the town if I wear a two piece because I am over 30yrs old (well over!) and will be there with my child? Do I need to wear a 'cover' of some sort perhaps? I can't remember the last time I went to a public pool where it is likely I will see my neighbors hence the concern. When I go on vacation or to local beaches the chances of seeing those around me are slim to none so I typically do not care about what people think. I do not currently own a one piece so trying to figure out if I need to get one.
What do you ladies typically wear to the pool?
