I'm a bit confused. Who is it that normally handles your domain registration?
Firstly, it thinks yesterday was in October. Secondly, their support site is completely different from the link they want you to click on. ovhcloud.net is not ovh-cgi4159.com. It's a scam, and I would report it and move on without a second thought.
Thank you everyone. That's what I thought. Clearly, the domain didn't go away because I'm still getting emails.

I bought the domain from google domains.
I have had a domain with my last name.org for at least 20 years and for a few years I got emails from some non-Yahoo entity asking for money to renew it. I never responded and my domain and email are still functioning normally. I haven't gotten one of those emails in like, 5 or 6 years. So, ignore them and they'll likely go away. (I got mine from Yahoo and I don't know if they're still collecting the $4.99/month or not.)

So you may be paying 4.99 for infinity and you don't care???

4.99 a month seems overpriced. I pay $12 a year for my domain name.
That was an error on my part. I don't seem to have been charged at all over the past few years.
If it really was addressed to 'Dear Customer' it is usually a scam. If you do have a business relationship/account, it would normally address you by name......even with a name, it could be a scam, but less likely.
I usually get one scam letter from Domain Registry of America - it's mentioned here along with a bunch of other scams:

Just make sure you know where your domain is registered - and it's also important update your email address if it has changed.Renovated apartment in Bloomfield

I'm usually good at detecting scams. Not sure about this one. It arrived in French, which I can read, but here's the English translation.
