Fridge question

We have a smallish fridge (14.3cf)

Which needs to go through a narrow door.

If we can take off the doors AND the black grill off the back it will make it.

I know we can get the doors off.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the rear grill?

Best Regards

Ron Carter

Can you not see any screws to undo the grill? If not, you may also be able to pop-off the vertical door-stop wood on both sides of the door jam entrance to give you just enough room. Obviously that won't work if you have a steel door jam.

 Thanks!

What's the make and model number for the fridge? should be able to find a service manual that shows how to remove the grill. Though as steel says, it's probably just some screws.

It got in the room... why wouldn't it not fit to leave?

Are you referring to Ron’s fridge?

The OP may be trying to move the fridge from one location to another and the doorway in the other location may be too narrow to accomplish this.
