Please help: A mother in South Orange is seeking help finding her 11 year old son who went missing near the SO movie theater tonight.

Goes by Angel or Luis.
11 years old
Last seen around 6 near south orange, NJ movie theater
Wearing white shirt
Blue pants and grey sneakers, his school uniform at torch light academy in Orange. He doesn't know his way around South Orange.

I understand from facebook that the police are looking. There is not yet an Amber alert as that is apparently for known abductions

From what I understand the police are looking. I don't know what kind of local search is happening over there but I know the mother is desperate to find him. I believe she would appreciate any and all help.

Confused, yes, absolutely.

LL, Amber Alert is only used when:

1. There is reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has been abducted.

2. There is reason to believe that tbe adducted child may be in danger of death or serious bodily injury.

3. There is reason to believe that an AMBER Alert would assist in locating the child considering all relevant circumstances, including whether there is enough descriptive information available, and the amount of time that has elapsed since the child was last seen and was reported missing.
